Gaziantep is a very important crossroads with highways, airways and railway connections north-south. Being at the intersection of roads and roads east from the Mediterranean  plays an important role in the economical and  cultural development of the province.

The Gaziantep railway caonnect the Adana-Narli railway to the Aleppo-Bagdat railway at Cerablus (Barak) Station. In addition, the Aleppo Express, which passes Fevzipasa, goes to Syria at the Islahiye crossing.

Gaziantep connects to Adana through Osmaniye, through the Birecik Bridge to Sanliurfa, to Kahramanmaras through Narli, to Antakya through Fevzipasa, to Aleppo (Syria) through Kilis, to Antakya from Hassa and to Adiyaman from Besni.

The Gaziantep highway a vital line for all these highways.

The international Gaziantep-Oguzeli airport has daily departures. There are scheduled direct flights to Ankara and Istanbul from Gaziantep. It is also possible to flight directly to some cities (Munich, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg, etc.) of Germany in summer season. Between Adana and Gaziantep, these charter flights continue during the whole year.
